Help Us Build
Our mission is to create a welcoming space that provides a fun, safe and inclusive play area for children from the school and community. We envision a beautiful space that will help our young enjoy spending time outdoors while remembering the joy that Jack Natzke brought to our community.
Our dream is BIG, and carries an estimate of $60,000. We are requesting the community’s support in helping us achieve our goal to build a beautiful playground to forever remember the life of Jack Natzke.
We have BUILT Phase 1 thanks to $41,950 in donatons!
NEXT UP!! We NEED HELP to raise the funds to purchase the 2 – 5 year old equipment. The estimate needed for the 2 – 5 year old equipment is $18,000.
BUILD FOR JACK! Less than 2 years ago, on September 15th, our community was heart-broken by the sudden loss of Jack Natzke, a kindergartner at Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School. Jack was a sweet, active and healthy 5-year-old little boy who unexpectedly became sick and was hospitalized.
Our community gathered together at the hospital where Jack lay, lending their support and prayers for his recovery. However, just a few short days later, we gathered again, to mourn his passing. Images of Jack’s cheerful smile, bright eyes and blonde hair circulated through social media and touched many hearts, locally and well beyond our state’s borders.
We will always remember Jack for his energetic, kind and loving personality. Jack was a huge Green Bay Packer fan and loved to spend time outdoors playing baseball and basketball. Jack gave so much love to everyone he met and could light up an entire room with his contagious smile. While he expressed love for everyone, he saved his biggest hugs for his big sister Ella and his parents Renee and Jason.
As a way to celebrate the love, laughter, and joy Jack brought to the lives of our community, his school, Green Bay Trinity, is building a memorial playground on the school grounds.
To follow Jack’s story, a Facebook page honoring Jack has been established. More information can be found at facebook.com/jacknatzke
