History and Values

Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School was founded by several members of four churches on the east side of Green Bay.  Seeing a need for Lutheran education on the east side, but only LCMS schools on the west side, they began the task of starting the school in 2001.  In 2003, Christ of the Bay Lutheran Church, Hope Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Church, and Our Saviour Lutheran Church created the Green Bay Lutheran School Association, which was tasked with starting a school.  Green Bay Trinity was started that fall with an enrollment of 6 students in first and second grade.  In each consecutive year, Trinity added a grade until it offered kindergarten through eighth grade.  Green Bay Trinity considers itself a feeder school for NEW Lutheran High School and has sent over 90% of every graduating class on to NEW Lutheran High.

Mission Statement

Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School will provide a quality educational program in a Christ-centered environment for all children within our community.

Vision Statement

Nurturing Mind and Spirit

It is our passion and our goal to prepare students for life beyond Trinity’s doors.  In order to accomplish that goal, we strongly focus on spiritual development and academic excellence.  Spiritual development is essential in the life of a Christian, and the Holy Spirit works through the daily exposure and instruction to the Holy Scriptures and their application to daily life.  In addition, our students will be entering into a more competitive world than ever before.  Our curriculum develops both the background information and critical thinking skills necessary to solve complex problems and be prepared for high school and beyond.

But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. (Luke 10:14)
