As we get closer to school starting back up again, we know you will be out and about picking up school supplies for your kiddos. Don’t forget about Operation Christmas Child! This is a mission project we do every year, and we are trying to get a jump start on it this year. Below you’ll see a list of items we’d love for you to think about purchasing extra of when you are doing your back-to-school shopping. We will even have some boxes for you to put your items in on Back to School Night next month!
Colorful pencils/Pencils with designs (would prefer not the regular yellow ones)
Socks for boys and girls (no crew socks) in sizes 2-4 yrs., 5-9 yrs., 10-14 yrs.
12-inch rulers-make sure they include metric
Pencil Sharpeners
Erasers (big pink kind)
Eraser Tops
Glue Sticks ONLY (no Elmer’s glue)
Wash Cloths (colorful, no white)
Stick pens (like Bic blue and black pens)
Band Aid’s (make sure they are NOT antibacterial)
Our goal is 400 boxes so stock up on those school supplies and get ready to send them in for chapel offerings during the months of September and October.
